To Confirm Your
Reservation:
A deposit of 20% is required WITHIN TEN
DAYS of making your reservation. Upon receipt of your deposit, a
letter of confirmation will be sent to you. NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE
HELD LONGER THAN TEN DAYS.
Payment:
Any balance owing for your stay is due
and payable on or before 30 days prior to arrival. We accept cash,
checks with proper identification and verification, MasterCard and
VISA. IMPORTANT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURE.
There will be a $25.00 service charge on returned checks. Any
balance remaining after checkout is automatically charged to the
credit card used to book the unit.
Rates:
Reservations may be booked up to one year in
advance. A minimum two-night stay is required for all rentals. Our
weeks run from Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday. Weekends start
after 3:30pm on Friday until dark on Sunday night. Midweek’s run
from 3:30 pm Monday to Friday at 10am. All check-out times are 10am
except Sunday departures, when you can leave up until dark.
Cleaning
Fee:
A one time cleaning fee will be
charge for a normal clean-up. Excessive cleaning and/or dirty
dishes or garbage, will be charged to your credit card security
deposit.
Cancellation
Policy:
Cancelled reservations will be refunded
in full, less a $100.00 cancellation, if cancelled at least 30 days
prior to your arrival date. Cancellations occurring less than 30
days prior to arrival date will be refunded only when the unit has
been re-rented.
Taxes:
A local accommodations tax of 3% and
State Sales Tax of 7% will be added to all rentals.
Housekeeping:
All of our homes provide bed linens, bath
towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Your accommodations will be cleaned before you arrive and when you
depart. Beds will be made and a minimum number of bath linens will
be provided with each property. It is
a good idea to bring extra towels for swimming use. Each unit is
inventoried after each use. Upon arrival report any apparent damage,
housekeeping issues, shortage of furnishings or equipment
immediately.
Credit Card
Authorizations:
Credit cards (MasterCard or VISA) are
used as security against damage or cancellation with less than the
required notice, or charges left unpaid at departure, such as fees
for telephone charges, lock-outs, lost keys, unauthorized pets,
excessive cleaning and/or damage to the property. Property
management staff inspects units following a rental to determine if
there are any damages. Please report any damage noted on arrival so
you will not be charged in error. Any breakage or damage occurring
during your stay should be reported and arrangements made to cover
replacement cost prior to your departure.
Telephones:
All properties have telephones for the
convenience of guests. All properties allow free local calls. A
credit card is necessary to make long distance calls.
Locked Closets:
Many homeowners have personal belongings
locked in a closet. These areas are not included in the rental.
Equipment and
Furnishings:
You are renting privately owned
accommodations. It is equipped and furnished to satisfy the owner’s
taste. Please do not move or rearrange the furniture.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed in the majority of
our rental properties. Sorry, but we cannot make exceptions for the
properties that do not allow pets. This is strictly enforced.
Violation will result in forfeiture of deposit and a charge of
$250.00. No refunds will be given should eviction be necessary. If
you wish to travel with your pet, there are excellent boarding
kennels in the area. Properties that allow pets there is a $25.00
per night charge.
Smoking:
NO SMOKING
is allowed in any of our units.
Lock-Out Charges:
There is a $45.00 charge for lock-outs
during the hours our office is closed.
Agency Disclosure:
Rabun Vacations, Inc. serves as the agent
& representative of all home owners in its rental program, and is
acting at all times, in and for the best interests of the owners.
